Some say hack, others say glitch...

To me, it sounds like somebody hit the “censorship wet dream” button and got rid of everyone they don’t like.

It’s much more sinister than just a glitch...

And YouTube was actually fairly honest about it saying that it had to do with a glitch re: community guideline enforcement.

Targeted channels hated by certain groups and checked for removal... the measure accidentally went live lastnight. Oops, eh.

Well that’s just it...

Miley Cyrus is one of the channels that went poof.

It’s not really people hated by SJWs...

It’s anybody.

So really, the “glitch” shows what would go poof from YouTube if community enforcement truly had its way.

And hopefully YouTube will realize what a train wreck that is and make sure it never, ever happens.

They'll either realize it or perish. No YouTuber wants YouTube to become Television 2.0. That should be common sense, but then Google is running it now.
