I was doing about 45 on a service road. I passed a car on the left and was getting back over into the right lane. Unbeknownst to me, a pickup truck had come flying up out of nowhere and was alongside me when I changed lanes. I bounced off his door, went down, and slid a good 50 yards. Dude in the truck must've been going extremely fast to cover that much ground so quickly because he was at least three quarters of a mile back when I passed the first car. Those cute little round mirrors on scooters are utterly worthless. I never knew that big honkin' pickup truck was there.
