Let's tale it step by step. I'll explain things as if speaking to a dull child, which pains me because I know you're not a dull child. Do you feel my pain here? I need you to feel my pain for a minute. You can go back to your happy clappy whatever in a minute. Just feel my pain right now.
In National Socialist Germany, they had a slogan, Deutschland Uber Alles, meaning Germany over and above all else. In other words, they wanted Germany to dominate the whole world. Probably the universe if they figured out a way to pull it off.
So, following from that, when somebody comes at me with their ego defenses raised rather than a desire to understand what I'm saying to them, I paraphrase it somewhat: Ego Uber Alles, meaning they put their ego ahead of their desire to listen.

Now granted, the suggested reading came off as passive-aggressive, which wasn't my intention, but i was goose-stepping to Ego Uber Alles myself at that point, because when I'm being trolled, my first instinct is to counter-attack with severe and overwhelming force, right?
Here's what I want you to understand, and you've already alluded to it yourself in the thread about having elderly people post here, so I know you'll see the value of it. What you're looking for from the old folks is cultural literacy, a deeper understanding of the lore of American culture that the Left are busily trying to erase.
The problem is, the people who are now the eldest generation are Baby Boomers. There is very little wisdom to be gained from that generation.They denigrated traditional wisdom, never valued American culture, and so they never bothered to learn about it. They believed their batshit ideas were superior to the collective wisdom of the ages, with the results that you see around you in the world today.
So, when I posted the book links, I was being sort of sarcastic, but I was also being serious in that you literally have to learn that stuff from books now because the current crop of old folks are about worthless when it comes to passing the knowledge down.
