They don't claim to be accurate. It could start in 2 billion years or 5 or 10 billion. It could be billions of years after it starts before anybody notices.

The 'billions of years' thing seems like a load of BS too... a bit ridiculous.
Let's face it, it's all laughable once you become convinced that time is an illusion in the first place. I talk about all these things like I don't know that it's all an illusion, because I like to ponder and be entertained. At the end of the day though... I know the truth.

I just thought of something.
Every cell in your body regenerates and the cells in your current body are totally different than the ones you were born and grew up with. Even the atoms comprising your body are different from the ones your were born with. The only things that might be consistent are your bones, but your bone marrow would comprise different cells and atoms over time. So, once you land on another planet and start eating the food grown there you body would eventually comprise of cells and atoms native to that planet.

I heard an interesting theory that 'continental drift' aint what we think it is and happened due to the earth starting out as a much smaller ball and then expanding thus ripping apart land masses
I hope my sweet southern belle mo doesn't drink too much this weekend and seek out lusts of the flesh , I need her to stay pure

If you could survive the 7 years it takes to construct the cellular body, then theoretically there could be something to that. I would imagine in order to really adapt to it, it would take more cycles than any human could live through. There are only like 10 or so 7 year cycles in a human life pretty much.

Food and water are what mostly tie us to the planet.
And we're taking building blocks provided by the planet to develop our physical selves. What Joe Rogan says about Nature providing psychedelic compounds and other substances to expandand human consciousness seems very probable. Maybe that how all those Ancient People figured out what plants they could eat or not and what drugs they could use.

They say everyone now living has inhaled an atom of the last breath of Christ.
