Having worked on motorhomes and travel trailers,and this is just my opinion the more options you get the more likely you are to have random problems. there is literally miles of wiring in one motorhome. Very time consuming to work on. That's what I like about the van, buy a stripped cargo E 350 gas V 10 used and you have a blank canvas to do whatever you want with the inside and outside for that matter.I guess though it all boils down to how much room you need

Secret is to use many termination boxes so you don't have long wiring. And it isn't hard or time consuming to pull another wire even the length of that huge bus. But fuck I wouldn't wan't an RV that big anyway even if someone gave me one for free I would just sell it. Way to big. Just a small 2 person.

I wouldn't own a motorhome either,and what is a termination box? sounds like a box where someone goes to crock lol.
Terminal panels and junction boxes/ fuses panels are all over a rig that big
As far as the wiring,try to tell a customer that owns a 300,000 dollar rig ,after you have removed most of one wall and their fancy ass granite countertops just to find a short in 2 wires causing their power slide area not to retract, that your going to run a dirty overlay wire and see how that goes. I wasn't saying I built them just worked on them. I just wrote this to clarify,nothing bad meant.

Intermediate termination boxes aka junction boxes aka whatever you want to call them.
You shouldn't run a wire the whole length of a bus, like they do in commercial operations.
You never let a wire go more than a certain length so if it fries you can just run another easy.
But the problem is, many run the wiring straight through the foam insulation, you should use duct not only for easily pulling another wire through, but for fire protection.
It depends on the manufacturer how stingy they are I worked for sunliner they always used duct.
And if you are doing it yourself for your own vehicle well never make it hard to repair. Make everything easily access.
You should not need to pull a counter top just for wiring.
