I’ve always liked that other guest too so I mean...

Hopefully he/she/it doesn’t end up getting too triggered!

No one "stole" my name. That is not what I'm saying. What I'm saying is, the system that assigned the last name entered in that field to the next unregistered user. I doubt seriously the last guest purposely chose the same name within minutes of my choosing it...highly unlikely. And it was not user error, either, it's just the way the system works. At any rate, I am not wedded to that name, I don't give a fuck, really. I was just trying to differentiate guests but at this point I no longer care.

Oh my God, this is turning into a conspiracy and I’m shook.

Yes, I was joking, sorry if I upset you. It hit me that there could be endless comedic material in the various names that would post as I changed them each time.

In all seriousness if you go out to the front page and click the number of replies by this thread and read the list of who’s posted in it, there is no post by any unregistered/guest under the name “thatguest”.

If you registered, your posts would show up instantly without having to be approved first and you could edit them too. I should bump a thread about that on the front page for any newcomers so they know.

What I mean is, I posted for months & months as just plain vanilla "guest" & the one time I decided I'd change my name in the name field (I am not referring to registering it), it ignored my attempt but gave the new name to the next guest. Then I got to thinking, this has hilarious possibilities...whatever ludicrous name I enter will be applied to the next guest entry & meanwhile, they won't know where the hell it came from! (I'm warped, I know!) But I realized I can waste a lot of time entertaining myself with shit like this & I ought to abandon these activities & go back to simply being "guest."

I understand you now sweetie, thanks for explaining... I really appreciate that. Most people would just get all triggered in a misunderstanding, but I think we all worked it out well.
