I just now found out Jimmy Buffett died last night, I mean it's getting out of hand folks...

Bob's gotta be thinking hard about this shit for sure, somebody from his era is dropping off every month or so at this point.
It happens to everyone, when you get old, all your friends and family start dying. But when you've had a life like Bob Dylan, how would you feel about it??
Would you feel like it's too soon to die? Does it not seem like life has been that long? Or vice versa, maybe he'd be relieved. It's intriguing but it's also just kind of depressing.
Being old wouldn't be that bad if it wasn't for the physical aspect like not being able to move fast and stuff. I dunno... better to burn out than fade away? Better to die early? Is Neil Young gonna bite the dust next? I just dunno.

19:27... iconic Little Richard.
Quote:"I just heard the news about Little Richard and I'm so grieved," Dylan wrote. "He was my shining star and guiding light back when I was only a little boy. His was the original spirit that moved me to do everything I would do."

3:20 very interesting to hear someone that Bob Dylan looked up to talking about the exact scenario of a biopic, contemporaries dying, etc.

I think Little Richard's biopic was the best kind...
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_Richard_(film)
It tells the real story and it had his full approval, didn't depend on casting trendy actors just to capitalize on THEIR audience instead of depending on interest about the subject of the biopic to drive its success.
Trendy actors don't stand the test of time in those kind of roles, they have no business being there.
Bob Dylan deserves better than the trendy actors who have been cast for his biopic, but whatevs.

1:17 so true. I've never really been into Little Richard's music but this is one of those situations where I like the person more than their music/art. I kinda feel the same way about Bob Dylan, but I do like a lot of his music too. Definitely not all of it though.

I don't think that's the case, but I do think it's hilarious.
I didn't watch this vid but I did read the comments...
I didn't expect people to actually be speaking the truth and ripping the whole concept of this Wonka reboot to shreds.
It was refreshing to see people sticking to the original Wonka (Gene Wilder) concept and really "getting" it.
Trying to make a story around young Wonka was a mistake and Chalamet shouldn't have participated.
I can't see him playing a convincing young Bob Dylan either... he is being given roles based on physical appearance and his young audience whose parents will spend their money to let them see his movies.
He's not being given roles on merit of talent or ability. There may be some roles he's good in, but they should be random characters, not longstanding beloved characters like Bob Dylan or Willy Wonka. Tim's just not the guy.

But wait, hold up.
What if Bob Dylan outlives ME?
That'd be fucked up.

I just assumed he'd die first cuz he's like 50 years older than me, that's all. I didn't mean anything by it.
